By law, all dogs in South Africa must be vaccinated against Rabies
No booking requests will be accepted unless the dog has been vaccinated according to current veterinary and our own requirements and documentary proof thereof must be presented.
The comfort and safety of our travellers - both furry and human - are always our top priority. Pets will need to be transported in a pre-approved Purpose Built Dog Carrier. The carrier must be properly ventilated and should be able to fit in front of the window seat. In the interests of your pet's wellbeing, LIFT staff and/or agents are authorised to deny boarding on the day of travel if the criteria have not been met. Please also make sure to keep your furry friend inside the carrier at all times - both before and during the flight. If any of these are not met, or if the instructions from our Ground and Cabin crew are not adhered to, LIFT reserves the right to cancel the return flight for your dog (if booked) and refuse any future travel for your dog.
